Snowboarding

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort was named #3 of the Top Snowboarding Resorts in the country according to Ski Guide 2006–07. Snowboarding is allowed on 100% of its terrain, and a super-pipe and terrain park lure riders who want to play. Apré Vous, or Lower Mountain, is an excellent beginner and intermediate playground with uncrowded lifts and some steep but legal out-of-bounds in Saratoga Bowl. Rendezvous Mountain is split; the top half attracting extreme snowboarders, with the terrain becoming easier lower down.

Grand Targhee Resort also permits snowboarding on all open terrain, and offers two parks plus natural freestyle terrain. Its North Pole terrain park gives everyone a chance to ease their way into freestyle riding. Trick Town features table tops, rainbow, rails and more. Center Earth freestyle area is a dynamic playground with natural features enhanced with expert grooming.
